I love love love this time of year.  Of course it's still in the 80s with the occasional 90s here right now.  Soon it will start to actually feel like fall or so we can only hope.  My kids are anxiously anticipating the trick or treating this weekend.  I love the colors and, of course, the opportunity to put up a different set of decorations in the house.  We had a great time at the pumpkin patch last weekend.  It also gave me another reason to crack into my Olivia Level 2 paper packet.  The papers are gorgeous and I may need more packets just for myself.  The colors and designs are truly some of the best I have ever seen for the fall season.

Hooligans Halloween Layout

My kids talked me into putting up our Halloween decorations yesterday. Most of my neighbors had already done so and they wanted to get ours out, too.  It reminded me that I needed to get crafting on my Halloween pictures and favors.  First on my list was last year's trick or treat photos.

Based on the "Crystal Ball" layout pattern in the new Magic Template and Design Book this layout turned out to take only a few minutes to complete.  The new Magic book has 35 gorgeous layout patterns with interactive design features with instructions.  Like the other How To Programs from Close To My Heart, it's faster, simpler and easy!

Thanksgiving Layout Workshop

On November 4, 2010 at 7:00PM, I will be hosting a Thanksgiving / Fall Workshop.  Using the Olivia kit from the Fall/Winter Idea book, you will assemble this layout and a fall themed card.  The cost of the workshop is $15 or FREE with a $30 catalog purchase.  The layout will be precut and ready to assemble.  You will need to bring your scissors and adhesive.  This workshop involves some stamping and cutting.
